As promised I am here to report on the expedition to Prague last weekend and the live illustration I planned to do there. I wrote about this in last week’s post.
The trip was short, the city was lovely, and the bitcoin conference was great. (If you want to know more about what is bitcoin and what’s the problem with the current monetary system, you could start here. If you want to read more about the event check it out here)
My time was spent trying to balance talking to new people with going to talks, and sketching. I ended up illustrating two of the talks which I think is a good start.
I also found myself talking about my children’s books ideas and the story I’m working on now. People seemed really interested and I know there is a space for children’s books in the bitcoin community so I’ll keep sharing my work with them as I go along.
When I came back I drew this little guy, he has nothing to do with the conference or the story I’m working on. But maybe he is a character for a new story all together.
